Remember when my ex wanted me to watch her run. I set up a place by a pub so I could have a few pints. Walk outside 10 mins before her predicted pass time see her pass. Smile and wave then go back inside and have a couple of more drinks while play spot the difference. Once I missed the bus to the finish line so I had to sprint it to meet her. I actually arrived at the finish line more out of breath than she was.
