Found my 12yr old pup on my bed. It's been a couple years since she was able to get up there, no idea how she did it. With her favorite toy too! Don't have the heart to kick her off

I'm in a similar situation at the moment. My black lab can't make it around the house much with loss of sight and with all the stairs and lately she's been really wanting to come up to my bedroom like she used to. I'm convinced she knows she's on her way out so for months I've been carrying her up and down probably 15 times a day whenever I'm home. I urge you to cherish these moments whenever possible. They will be more important to you than they seem now. Good dog.

Remember: dogs love the bed because it has the most smells of their owner. They are surrounded by and cuddled with your scent. Next best thing to being hugged by you. :)
