"Walk's Plumbing and Heating."

"Wait. Who is this? I'm trying to reach Floyd's Funeral Home."

"This is Walk's, phone number 40."

"Whoops, so sorry, I meant to dial 49."

"No problem, happens all the time. Fuck the commies, am I right?"

My Dad told me that when he was 5 or so in the 50's, he picked up the phone and the operator asked him who he wanted to call. He said, "Grandma.". To which she asked, "Whose Grandma?". "My Grandma!".
