This photo was apparently somewhat faked; one of the photographers put on the uniform for the sake of getting the picture rather than it being an actual milkman.

No sweet photo, but...
My grandpa was a Canadian wwii vet and while on leave in England after a heavy night of bombing him and his decided to head to their favourite pub.
When they arrived they discovered that the front had been blown off, the owner was out sweeping, and there was a sign up that read,
"More open than usual."
