A Bearwood woman was left baffled after her milk delivery was stolen from her doorstep - and was shocked when her doorbell camera footage showed the suspected thief dressed in just underwear and flip flops

A mum was left 'udderly shocked' after a half‐naked woman in just black underwear and flip‐flops brazenly swiped her milk bottles from the doorstep.

The Bearwood resident said her morning got off to a sour start when she opened the door to find her delivery gone, and was even more astonished when she checked her doorbell footage.

In the clip, the woman can be seen strutting up the drive at 5am wearing only knickers, a crop top and flip‐flops before grabbing two bottles and making a cheeky dash, reports Birmingham Live.

Not one to keep quiet, the baffled householder posted the images to Facebook where others also reported their milk had gone missing recently.

The householder said: "We were very frustrated to see it on our doorbell as have two young children, but you hope it's someone in such desperate need they resort to stealing.

"Why in her underwear we do not know! Makes us think twice about getting milk delivered as it has happened several times in our area recently."

West Midlands Police confirmed it received a report of theft and milk being stolen at 5.10am on Friday, July 17.

Its statement said: "Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 or use the Live Chat option on our website quoting crime number 20/328342/26."
