For anyone wondering why US customs is at a Canadian airport, people flying from Canada to the US can get cleared through US customs before they board their flight so they don't need to do it when they arrive.
few years ago we had to fly to the US a few days before the 4th of July and we spent nearly 2 hours in that very line. We'd have missed our flight if the incoming flight wasnt delayed lmao
