This painting came from the idea of protection and guidance through uncertainty. I wanted the mother bear to feel almost like a moving structure of safety while carrying her cub through the current.
For me, this piece is less about the physical landscape and more about the feeling of being carried through difficult moments before we are ready to cross them alone.
