It’s currently scorching hot outside here in Transylvania, so my dog and I decided to retreat underground. This cellar is part of an old estate and stays at a perfect, natural 16°C (61°F) 24/7, no AC needed.
We brought down some lawn chairs, setup the sound system, and even laid down a small patch of artificial turf so the dog doesn’t have to sleep on the cold dirt floor. Living like a medieval king down here with some fresh watermelon!

Edit/ Fun fact about the dog: her name is Malinka and she's a Transylvanian Hound. I actually got her from a hunter who lived at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. At that time, the hunter was hosting a family of Ukrainian refugees. They had a little girl who fell in love with the pup and named her Malinka (which means little raspberry). When I first called her by that name, she instantly turned her head to look at me, so we knew right then and there we had to keep it.
