Those people are too close. There are signs everywhere in like 8 languages that say 100 yards from bear/wolves, 25 yards from bison/elk/deer/etc.
An 11 year old kid was airlifted last week from Mud Volcano (the day after we were there) because they were too close to a bison and got charged.
Person taking this photo is probably OK.
