Very important for kids whose parents work multiple jobs. I really started cooking myself about the same time ~5th grade because my single mom was working nights. Cooking young can make you a home cook for life and save you thousands. Highly recommend.

That is great. Cooking is a great life lesson for a young man. Cooking up some thing even a snack for mom, dad or friends shows skill and love. Cheers

I hope he's introduced to vegetables at some point. That will be life-prolonging.
