I remember when I learned that word had been added to our nation, not at it's foundation but many many decades later during the red scare... along the same time the two groups co-opted each other to fight against the others.
I feel like we should go back to "united we stand" being printed on currency. Surely there isn't a bunch of ultra rich technocrats that benefit from the US being divided, surely.
