A total of 56% of Ukrainians believe that the US has grown weary of the war and is pressuring Ukraine to make concessions to Russia.

According to a poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), 30% of respondents say the US remains a reliable ally, while 13% did not answer the question.

As for Europe, the majority of Ukrainians – 64% – continue to believe that European countries are providing serious support to Kyiv and are seeking to end the war on fair terms.

Meanwhile, 25% of respondents believe that European support has weakened and that Europe is pressuring Ukraine towards an unjust peace. Another 12% did not answer.

Compared with January 2026, the share of those viewing European policy towards Ukraine positively has increased. The proportion who see Europe as a reliable ally rose from 58% to 64%, while the share who believe Europe is becoming fatigued and reducing its support fell from 35% to 25%.

The KIIS poll was conducted from 7 May to 3 June 2026 through computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI), based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers across all government-controlled regions of Ukraine. A total of 1,000 respondents were interviewed.

In April, a KIIS poll found that Ukrainians' trust in security guarantees from both Europe and the US had declined in the event of a renewed Russian attack.

In March, another poll showed that while most Ukrainians maintained a positive view of the US overall, attitudes towards the US administration were predominantly negative.

Ukraine's current mid strike drone campaign is doing what almost no amount of ATACMs could have. FP-5 is starting to look like a cheap Tomahawk analogue. The big missing item Patriot that can take out the IRBMs otherwise they have gone a long way to replicate what was not on offer.

To my knowledge, Trump has yet to suggest that Russian's should give up anything in negotiations while constantly badgering Ukraine into concessions. Republicans as group have been right there with Trump, united in supporting him as he pushes for Ukraine to surrender land to that tiny little nation known as Russia. I have no idea how they rationalize it to themselves.

Mind you, the same country(US) that can't even make Iran, the country it's having hostilities with, to sign any form of ceasefire or peace deal, is instead pressuring Ukraine to give up lands to Ruzzia. How messed up is that?!
