I’m not old enough to remember the bicentennial though I was alive, but I remember seeing all the “Spirit of ‘76” stuff for years and years after. It was a huge deal. People were excited about it.
This could have been a hell of a summer with celebrations everywhere and the largest sporting event on Earth happening in the USA at the same time…
But, because this clown can’t stop hooking up his friends and family and stealing stealing stealing, it’s all so depressing.
Remember, “America 250” is the nonpartisan, nonprofit organization created by Congress to run the 250th celebrations.
“Freedom 250” is the private, for profit company run by the Trump family that is running the 250th celebrations by executive order, bypassing Congress.
