Rainbows make a full circle. The ground just gets in the way. A perfect rainbow can be seen from above, I.e. in a plane or hot air balloon, not a dirigible. Never a dirigible, and no I won’t elaborate.

Where’d you take this pic? I also had a massive rainbow that looked just like this the other day. This is a great pic !
