We got an itemized bill after my wife had our daughter. My wife hold our daughter right after birth was an extra charge apparently. What kind of disgusting ass bullfuckinshit is that? I'm convinced the devil himself would be impressed by how absolutely evil that is.
I live in Western Australia. Back in April I was rushed to the emergency department after what was meant to be a routine procedure. I had to spend the night in hospital. Was given breakfast and lunch, round the clock monitoring.
When it was time to get discharged I simply collected my belongings, got changed, and went home.
I had 1 year of Cancer Treatments in Canada in my own private room. Multiple Surgeries, 3 Spinal taps, Multiple Blood Transfusions (3 in one day!), Cat Scans, MRI's, X-Rays, Weekly Blood Count tests, Monthly Chemotherapy etc... We also had a volunteer to take us to hospital visits when my dad was not available as he worked out of the city a lot.
I think it was like $2 for bus tickets for my Mom to visit me there and back and maybe $10 a day to park if both parents came down.

Oh yeah, I paid $5.50 for a coffee on my way out.
