Momma left him in the shade in what she assumed to be a safe place for the next 8-16 hrs… if you don’t need to move that car, don’t. She’ll probably be back relatively soon to collect her fawn.
I was out on a walk one day last year and saw a fawn under a neighbor's car like that and got worried enough about it that I went and knocked on the door. The lady was happy I knocked because she knew it had been in their garden but saw it hobble off a little earlier when another neighbor fired up a lawnmower and scared the little guy. She was worried it went too far and the doe wouldn't be able to find it.
