Details: The Finnish president believes that from Ukraine's perspective, the military situation looks considerably better than at any point during the full-scale war.
"The first year of this war for Ukraine was a struggle for survival.
Stubb says that the current situation is such that for every Ukrainian soldier killed, eight Russian soldiers are killed.
"Furthermore, support for the war in Russia is falling, meaning Ukraine currently holds the upper hand," Stubb assessed.
His name has also been mentioned among the candidates for potential EU negotiators with Russia. »
