“Ukraine is not just a security consumer, it’s also a security provider,” Gen. Karel Řehka says.
The Czech Republic's top general said Ukraine should join NATO in the future as the next "logical step."
"Ukraine is not just a security consumer, it's also a security provider," the chief of the Czech defense staff, Gen. Karel Řehka, told POLITICO's Speakeasy on the sidelines of the GLOBSEC forum in Prague Thursday.
“I'm not saying it's easy. At the end of the day, it's about political consensus, but I think that's the direction we should be heading to," he added.

Ignoring the complexity around this, Ukraine IS now a security provider, and they bring a lot to the table.
