We’re closer to the time Jesus was born than Jesus’ birth was to the pyramids, and they were built 1000 years before the Old Testament books were started. Just a little perspective for those whose world view starts and ends with the Bible.
Think about this: if you were an ancient Egypt historian/archaeologist today and you travelled 2000 into the past you could have the exact same profession studying the exact same materials.
The size doesn't hit you until you get close. They're so massive that your intuition for scales and proportions gets confused af, especially when driving towards them.
