Man sentenced to 6 years in prison for distributing meth pills shaped like Mario

Remember that time Captain Lou Albano, dressed as Mario, told kids that if they use drugs “you go to hell before you die”? Well if Lou was still around (rest in peace!), he’d be horrified to see just what kind of drugs are making the rounds on the streets.

33-year-old Ronnell Rogers has been sentenced to six years in federal prison following charges of being in possession of meth pills, but not just any pills. As you can see above, Rogers had meth pills shaped like Mario, which makes horrible situation just that much worse. Rogers’ sentence was for distributing fentanyl and for violating terms of parole.

Putting drugs out there on the street is obviously a problem, but distributing meth shaped like a character that children adore and it also happens to look like it could be a piece of candy? Well, that’s pretty horrifying. Thankfully Rogers was caught and at least one method of distribution for these pills has been squashed.

See this is why you use Sonic - Nintendo’s lawyers are still powerful.

Sega’s are paid in pachinko balls.
