The biggest threat to this store is the big clothing stores online where you can buy the same products at a big discount. They've been consuming all the mom and pop stores for at least 80 years. Sadly, the most optimistic likely outcome is for the owner to manage to survive until retirement, then voluntarily shut down operations for good. Another good outcome is if they can pass the business on to a child or relative that is eager to continue the business. Long term, unless they are in a location that lets them maintain a loyal clientele base, sadly, they're doomed.
