Just to clarify, my sister-in-law worked her ass off to afford her family home in Erkay, Lebanon, beyond the Litani River. She has three little kids, the youngest born in January. They are good people with nothing to do with Hezbollah, just poor workers trying to survive.
Thankfully, they were out of town when Israel attacked and destroyed their house, leaving them with nothing behind. My wife and I live in Europe, so we can help them, but it’s still such an unfair move. Innocent people are paying the price.
There would have been a family of five killed, including my sister-in-law and three children under the age of four.
Edit: I would also like to clarify that I don’t think all Israelis are bad, not at all. I studied there for an amazing year in Haifa and met many nice people. But the current leadership, as well as Lebanese Hezbollah, are bad. They simply don’t care about civilian or collateral damage, such as the house of my sister-in-law. So saying “fuck Israel” might sound convenient, but it’s not the solution.
