Nutty place. Not a big island at all, but it’s indigenous plant life is quite wacky.. maybe there’s someone that can explain why it’s so unique? The desert/ocean location possibly?

I guess it's like a golf umbrella to protect from the sun. You certainly don't need rain protection in Yemen.
