Update: Well the local snake catcher came, and may have been bitten so now he is off to hospital
Update from the snake catcher: "Still there. No venom detected. Gotta be here until 4am. None of us think it's a bite. Just being cautious as I felt it bump me" (was about 4pm he got the snake)
