For context — Dems, for all their problems, still tried six separate times this week to fund TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard while ICE negotiations continue. Six times Republicans blocked it.
The demands? ICE agents should always show ID, always wear body cameras, and never wear masks (LE rarely has a reason to wear masks!) Oh, and get a judicial warrant before entering your home.
ICE already has $75 billion. The agencies going without pay are the ones keeping your flights safe and responding to disasters.
And one more thing... 81% of fentanyl smugglers caught at the border are American citizens coming through legal ports of entry in passenger vehicles. The sign isn't about open borders. It's about accountability for agents operating with no warrants, no ID, no camera
