I have a pic of my husband’s 94 year old grandpa with my then 6 month old son and it’s one of my favorites. He had lost a lot of his cognitive ability at that point but he knew and understood that his 6 great grandkids were his and he loved them.
My kids are lucky enough that his wife, their great grandma is still kicking at 101 and we take all the pictures we can.
