I recently got a 700 dollar medical bill to which my insurance covered a whopping $8 of. This is due to the radiologists that took my x-ray being with a contract company and out of network, even though the facility I went to is in network. All of this was not explained to me until after I was billed. Silly me thinking I was in network for going to the in network place I usually go to.
