Bar professional here. I have been buying vintage liquor for over a decade.

DO NOT DRINK THAT unless you want lead poisoning. Awesome find though.

My mom's uncle loved those collectible Beam bottles. He bought all of them he could find. BUT, his wife was a whacko-Baptist, and wouldn't allow booze in the house.

So, the Uncle dumped the whiskey into 5 gallon Sparklett's water bottles, which were glass in those days. He kept them in his garage. One time we were visiting, and my dad spotted the bottles in the garage and asked about them. Uncle said "it's Beam and I need to get rid of it". Dad, being the gent that he was, hauled "away" the sin-juice. And by hauled "away", I mean right home to Dad's garage, where he and his friends enjoyed it for quite a while.

"Glenlivet? Glenfiddich?"

"No, Glencampbell!"
