Been working in a kitchen for 20+ years. Ive cut into thousands of avocados and only ever had this happen once. I almost cut myself bc my knife went right through it. No one believed me that i cut into an avocado with no pit. All the cooks i worked with called bs until we fact checked that it could actually happen. Up until that point i just thought the pit was essential to the avocados growth and couldnt exist without one.
