Dmitry Medvedev, former Russian president and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, has threatened Schengen countries in his usual provocative style, saying Russian soldiers do not need visas and could simply invade Europe.

Quote: "Kaja [Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy], the blonde rat, said she was working to ensure that hundreds of thousands of former Russian servicemen would never enter Schengen. What a loss for our fighters. Well, they can enter it without visas if they want to. Like in 1812 or 1945."

Details: Medvedev's threats came on Russia's Defender of the Fatherland Day, celebrated on 23 February, and on the eve of the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Medvedev has repeatedly threatened European countries with invasion and even nuclear action since 24 February 2022. His posts often include personal insults aimed at top officials in the EU and the US.

On 23 February, ahead of a meeting of the EU Council of Foreign Affairs in Brussels, Kallas said the EU is working to restrict access for former Russian servicemen to the Schengen area .

"Together with the Commission we are working to keep potentially hundreds of thousands of former Russian soldiers out of the Schengen area. We do not want war criminals and saboteurs to roam our streets," Kallas said.

I don’t think they’ll need customs forms to return home in coffins either
