Independent autopsy in ICE shooting death of Renee Good released by law firm in civil investigation
MINNEAPOLIS -- The results of an independent autopsy for Renee Good were released Wednesday evening.
It has been two weeks since Good was shot and killed by a federal immigration agent in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Good's family requested the law firm representing them, Chicago-based Romanucci & Blandin, commission the autopsy.
The independent autopsy found there were three clear gunshots on Good's body, one to her left forearm, another through her right breast and one that entered the left side of her head near the temple. That bullet exited on the other side.
The findings of the autospy were consistent with what first responders reported on the scene.
The federal government has maintained that Good posed a threat to the agent that shot her. Good's family and witnesses have repeatedly denied that claim.

Meanwhile, federal prosecutors served grand jury subpoenas Tuesday to Minnesota officials as part of an investigation into whether they obstructed or impeded law enforcement during a sweeping immigration operation in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, a person familiar with the matter said.
The subpoenas, which seek records, were sent to the offices of Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her and officials in Ramsey and Hennepin counties, the person said.
The person was not authorized to publicly discuss an ongoing investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
The subpoenas are related to an investigation into whether Minnesota officials obstructed federal immigration enforcement through public statements they made, two people familiar with the matter said Friday. They said then that it was focused on the potential violation of a conspiracy statute.

So now, even talking about how ICE does their job is impeding them? You can be charged with obstruction while not having a single ICE agent within a country mile?
ICE can be impeded remotely?!?!?
If that's true, we're all guilty. Bring on your charges.

Reading the report, the head shot wound is through the left temple. He would have fired that shot when he was already safely to the side of the vehicle.
