So I’m from Australia but went to visit some friends in Texas earlier this year and before I left my brothers like go to bucees and bring me something back. I’m like wtf is bucees and he goes oh it’s a big petrol station.
So I mentioned to my friends and we stopped off at one on the way back from somewhere. It was a ‘super bucees’ apparently which means it’s bigger or something. Anyway we get fuel and we were gunna go in and they insisted we move the car in case someone wanted to use to pump. At home at like an 8 pump petrol station I’d just go in and leave my car at the pump it would never fill up. I’m looking around I can see nothing but pumps as far as the eye can see but whatever we move the car.
Inside was fascinating. Any item you could think of was there with a beaver face stamped on it. They had a mascot in a beaver outfit, it was so bizarre. Unfortunately I couldn’t fit a beaver onesie in my luggage but ended up leaving with a sweater.
Honestly I thought it would be pretty dumb at first but it was so different that it was hilarious and interesting.
