Posting this in response to requests from what I shared yesterday do this subreddit. This is the uncropped photo, showing the entire solar disc with my friend Gabe in freefall shortly after jumping off an ultralight tandem paramotor. This was captured using a hydrogen alpha telescope so we can see all the details on the sun. The close up area around Gabe was captured in real time, with the rest of the sun filled in as a mosaic, captured after the fact, which had the added benefit of removing the aircraft, giving the final photo a more isolated feel.
