News 3's unscientific survey of water prices along the Las Vegas Strip reveals a significant disparity in costs, with prices ranging from $1 to nearly $9 for a 20 oz bottle of Aquafina.

Starting at Circus Circus, a bottle costs $4.25 at the Market Express. At Treasure Island, the same bottle is $2.49 at the CVS Pharmacy, while a gift shop at Caesars Forum Shops charges $6.49.

The Flamingo, the oldest casino on the Strip, offers the most expensive option at $8.99. Excalibur prices its bottle at $5.29.

Meanwhile, street vendors provide more affordable options, with one vendor at TravelSuites Hotel on Circus Circus Drive selling a bottle for $1. Another vendor at Fashion Show Las Vegas offers two bottles for $5 and three for $6.

Finding more high-priced bottles or cheaper options? Let us know in the comments.

That’s almost $13 CAD which is near the minimum hourly wage in Alberta. So dystopian to imagine you need to work an hour to afford one single bottle of water.

Vegas used to have a reasonable business plan. Make it very cheap to visit Vegas, provide cheap food and drink and rooms, add some neat stuff to do, and attract people. Then let those people gamble as much as they possibly can, and collect all their money.

But now they're trying to make money on the side that used to be the loss leader and are dumbfounded that people aren't going to Vegas anymore.
