To the people saying there is no crowd: the metadata on the photo_crop.jpg) says it was taken at 2014-11-10 11:19. (As mentioned, there would be crowds at the exact right day and time.)
There's also a time in late January when the sun would be in the same place in the sky, which would also be good to get this picture.

At 11:11am on 11/11 there is always massive crowds, Go a day or 2 before or after is best for this kind of access.

Due to the precession (~wobble) of the earth this will be getting further and further away from perfect I believe for about 25k years

There's also MITHenge at just about the same times of year, when at sunset the sun lines up with a long hallway (the "Infinite Corridor") at MIT.
