You rock! Fellow poor child here. I buy several bags of good stuff: Hershey miniatures, Peppermint Patties, Reese's PB cups/twix/milky way bars. I end up with about 600 pieces of candy and give each kid a handful of goodies. I also keep a few six packs of beer in a cooler on the porch with me to offer to the parents. Halloween's a pretty fun hang for all of us.

How many trick or treaters do you get usually?
We counted over 200 kids last year... I wish I could afford to be "that" house.

I’m so convinced so many of us are out here just trying to give kids the childhood we didn’t have.
Love this for you OP! As a former “poor child” this adult shit is exciting now that I can afford to do things for the kids in my community.
