Details: Gladkov claimed that the air defence system was activated over Belgorod and the Belgorod district and the missiles were shot down.

He said that "debris that fell in Belgorod caused some rubbish to catch fire".

Later, the governor added that "short-term rolling blackouts are possible" following the attack.

Local social media are reporting a missile strike on the Luch Thermal Power Plant in Belgorod. In addition, almost all the street lights in the city are reported to be not working.

"The anti-air system was activated and some debris that fell lit some trash on fire. There might be a need for rolling blackouts",

Meaning your power plant is burning to ash and your grid is compromised.

Keep at it Ukraine. Teach the Russians what it feels like to have your power grid targeted for three years before or during the winter. Hell, if you could target a couple more power plants, and maybe a couple of gas providers near Moscow, that'd be great too.
