I don’t like our support for the war and I’m an atheist. They should feel safe to worship and there has been violence. It seems like a sensible precaution, good chance they are also paying for the overtime for the Officer.
Before I get downvoted I would feel the same way about any other religion or culture. I wish we didn’t have people with guns in the street.
Churchs are getting shot up, people are getting torn away from their families and disappearing into the void, and the Department of Defense is now Department of War....the list goes on and on.

I'm in the wrong timeline.

I’ve worked details like this at both mosques and synagogues in the city I work in. Not as kitted up but the same presence there.
Most attendees were very friendly and happy to have us. But I still think it’s sad we have to be there
