For red-eyes it's easier to get up and use the bathroom without having to wake up your fellow passengers. Day flights I always choose the window!

I always ask for aisle so I can stretch my legs. It makes a huge difference on long flights

Flying Iceland to Seattle I took a picture of an icebreaker. We were somewhere above the arctic circle west of Greenland according to the flight tracker map.
