I captured this single exposure with my Nikon D810 in rural Nebraska. The old home has since been torn down, so it truly can't ever be recreated.

I was extremely fortunate to have National Geographic pick up on this and publish a version of the photo in their October 2016 edition. One of the most rewarding highlights of my photography journey so far.

If interested, I frequently share similar content from the Great Plains on my Instagram - @ erikjohnsonphoto (Erik with a K)

I'm getting huge "Courage the Cowardly Dog" vibes. This is awesome!
