J.D. Vance was handcrafted by Peter Thiel to run for president and advance the interests of the top 1%. Vance previously worked for Thiel, and Thiel has subsequently bankrolled all of Vance's political campaigns. There is nothing natural about Vance's journey to the White House, it's complete astroturfing so that one of the richest men in America can garner even greater power and wealth.
