In 1986 I was in way-north Montana and came along a "Road Construction" sign.
They were correct. I mistook that sign to mean "Road Repair"
......nope! It was road "construction"....they were in the process of constructing it.

I know this is a joke, but isn't there an interstate in Texas that has had constant construction for the last 15 or so years and even though they haven't even finished, they just okayed more construction that's estimated to take another 15-20?

We had two seasons in Alberta, winter and road construction.
I can't imagine Montana is much different.
