That’s why I park as far away as possible, I can get out easier, forces me to walk more, saves my doors from dings. It’s not foolproof but 60% of the time, it works EVERYTIME!
As far as the handicap part, I will follow my dad’s footsteps, he didn’t get the placard until he was 90 and even then resisted.
