The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated that Russia’s spring-summer offensive campaign of 2025 concluded without achieving significant results.

According to the statement, Russian forces failed to gain full control over any major Ukrainian city during the campaign.

At the same time, Ukrainian Defense Forces inflicted heavy losses on the invading army.

Since the beginning of 2025, Russia has lost nearly 210,000 troops killed and wounded in battles across Luhansk, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions, along with thousands of units of military equipment.

In the operational zone of the Russian “Kursk” grouping, Ukrainian forces eliminated more than 19,000 enemy personnel and wounded over 25,000.

The Ukrainian General Staff rejected these assertions, describing them as an attempt to disguise indiscriminate strikes on civilian areas.

Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold the front, inflict losses on the occupiers, and demonstrate that Russia’s spring-summer offensive of 2025 has not achieved its objectives,” the General Staff stated. »
