Anybody who has visited elderly in care have seen this. It isn’t necessarily a death sentence but it means you’re getting IV infusions. There is no good reason to be getting an IV infusion, but there are plenty of less bad ones.

Not to dash your hopes, my great grandmother got those constantly in her later years. And by that, I mean starting at 75. She died at nearly 97.
