Maybe I grew up too rural, but bobcats aren’t scary! They tend to be literal scaredy-cats around people: they run off as soon as they see/hear/smell you.
(Obligatory: but that doesn’t mean they’re friendly even though they are friend-shaped. 0/10 recommend “psst psst psst-ing” this kitty).
