The CBS News review found the video does little to provide evidence to support claims that were later made by federal officials.

Additionally, CBS News has identified multiple inconsistencies between that report and the video that raise serious questions about the accuracy of witness statements and the thoroughness of the government's investigation.

Employees told investigators that Epstein had just finished an unmonitored call, later reported to have been with his girlfriend in Belarus.

The video, cross-referenced with diagrams of the Epstein holding area, does not appear to support that finding.

Bans on smartphones in Dutch schools have improved the learning environment despite initial protests, according to a study commissioned by the government of the Netherlands.

Researchers surveyed 317 secondary school leaders, 313 primary schools and conducted 12 focus groups with teachers, teaching assistants, students and parents.

Secondary schools reported that children found it easier to concentrate (75%), the social environment was better (59%) and some said results had improved (28%). »

Russia plans to spend around $1.1 trillion on rearmament over the next 11 years in preparation for a potential large-scale war, Ukraine's military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov said on July 22.

Russia is mobilizing all sectors of society to support its military buildup, he added.

An Argentine captured naked in his yard by a Google Street View camera has been awarded compensation by a court after his bare behind was splashed over the internet for all to see.

On a website about its Street View policy, Google says it has implemented measures to protect the privacy of people when images are published to Google Maps.

In 2019, Google reportedly agreed to pay a $13 million settlement over the company's collection of people's private information through its Street View project. »
