The US House of Representatives has approved legislation to continue military assistance to Ukraine, reinforcing bipartisan support for Kyiv’s defense effort against Russia’s ongoing full-scale war, as was reported by Militarnyi on July 19.
Representative Don Bacon confirmed the development Thursday night on X, writing, “We passed another bill to ensure continued military support for Ukraine.” He added that the legislation ensures “our defense industry keeps production going without delays.”
According to Militarnyi, the adopted bill secures the ongoing supply of arms, equipment, and logistical aid to Ukrainian forces. It includes provisions to maintain uninterrupted deliveries of precision munitions, armored vehicles, and air defense systems.
Although the exact monetary value of the package has not been made public, comparable tranches in recent months have ranged between $2 billion and $6 billion.
The legislation will now proceed to the Senate, where it is expected to be taken up next week. A favorable vote is anticipated due to similar bipartisan consensus in the upper chamber.
US President Donald Trump has not publicly commented on this specific bill. However, his administration has indicated conditional support for Ukraine aid.
Earlier, it was reported that the US Senate Armed Services Committee approved $500 million in security assistance for Ukraine, extending the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) through 2028, and blocking proposed retirement of the Air Force A‑10 fleet to maintain close air support capabilities.

not yet passed by the senate not yet signed by the president
it's name is HR 4016, which is officially called
"Department of Defense Appropriations Act for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026"
Meaning it's for ALL military funding.
Furthermore, this is what the article refers to:
"there was a specific amendment introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) that aimed to eliminate funding for aid to Ukraine within the larger bill. This amendment was ultimately rejected by the House on July 18, 2025, with a vote of 353 to 76."
And lastly,
There is no set-in-stone specific dollar amount allocated to aid ukraine in the bill in it's current state, from what I can tell.
Meaning it's still ultimately at the president's discretion 😭
