PBS only uses a tiny fraction over federal money to support their operations. The funny part is that it's the poorest regions that use it the most, like Appalachia and the deep south. So basically, just the very red areas will be the ones who now won't have access to things like certain emergency broadcasts and other important information that a lot of people don't realize comes from these sources
Man, the old WGBH logo animation is a major part of my childhood. So much nostalgia. If I'm not mistaken they gave us This Old House, Victory Garden, Julia Child and others. I hope they'll be able to weather the cuts.
