This was captured using an 11” telescope when the rings were a bit more face-on in 2022. Been hard to duplicate these results even with larger telescopes as the jet stream has become a bigger factor in my ability to see through the atmosphere. Thankfully, the conditions that I took this under are beginning to come back, so I might be able to get better photos over the next few months.
It can be hard to know how to get into a hobby like this, so I put together a telescope buying guide that discusses the tradeoffs with various equipment and what you can expect to see based on the investment. I send it to people for free as a thank you for joining my newsletter, which you can do here.
